Prep Time: 20 mins
Cooking Time: 15 mins
Servings: 1-2
Ingredients
1 block of firm tofu
2 spring onion, sliced
2-3 Thai chili pepper, sliced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup corn starch
1/4 cup oil
pinch of salt
Instructions
Press the tofu block with TOFUDEE Tofu Press for 20 minutes. When finished, discard water and slice the tofu into bite-size pieces.
Coat each tofu cube with cornstarch, seasoned with a pinch of salt. Gently press and roll tofu to make sure that the cornstarch sticks.
Heat oil in a medium-size pan over medium heat. Once hot, fry tofu for about 6-7 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy on all sides.
Once tofu is crispy, add in garlic, spring onion, and chili pepper. Sauté for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant, and tofu is well-coated. Taste to see if you need more salt.
Take off from heat.
Enjoy! 😋😉
