Italy and Asia talk in the same bowl! Tasty, comforting and quick to prepare this dish is perfect after a long day of work. If you have a little more time, you can also marinate the tofu in the sauce for 1 or 2 hours.
This easy recipe with familiar ingredients – soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and tofu have the perfect balance with its salty and a little bit of sweet taste, yes, yes sweet since we added a few tablespoons of maple syrup!

Ingredients
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
3 tbsp maple syrup
2 tsp sesame oil
1 onion chopped
1 pepper chopped
1 cup mushroom chopped
1 block firm tofu, pressed
14 cup neutral oil
4 oz. long pasta of your choice(fettuccini, linguine, spaghetti, etc)
Instructions
Whisk, soy sauce, maple syrup, and sesame oil, lime juice and garlic in a medium bowl.
Press tofu for 30 min, cut tofu into cubes.
Heat oil in a medium nonstick skillet over medium-high. Cook tofu, undisturbed, until very crisp about 5 minutes on each side.
Add onion and pepper and cook for another 3 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the package directions
Once cook Transfer the pasta to the pan with the tofu mixture. Add the soya sauce mixture and toss until the pasta is coated with sauce.
Divide pasta among bowls. Top with green onion.
